- To build confidence and resilience in the young people
Please note, CLASSS is currently closed indefinitely due to COVID-19. We are aiming to reopen classes in early 2022. If you would like a place for your child or children, please register your interest here: REGISTER INTEREST IN CLASSS FOR 2022
Our classes are held at Technorth, Harrogate Road, Leeds, LS7 3NB, every Thursday evening during term time at 5.45 – 7.30pm.
All children must be dropped off by 5.45pm and collected by a named adult by 7.30pm.
Tutors work one-on-one with students where possible, or with pairs or small groups of students.
All our tutors, organisers and trustees are volunteers, apart from a small number of paid teachers who provide curriculum support for English and Maths. All volunteers go through an application process and DBS check. All volunteers take safeguarding training before starting with us.
We currently provide classes for primary school years 2-6 and secondary school years 7-11. Unfortunately, we do not take young people in reception, year one or for post-16 support.
The fees for 2022 are still to be confirmed. However, to give an indication of the fees from 2019-2020 were as follows:
|1st child in family||£24 per half term (to be paid at the first class after every holiday)|
|2nd child in family||£18 per half term (to be paid at the first class after every holiday)|
|3rd, 4th child in family||£12 per half term (to be paid at the first class after every holiday)|
We are a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity. The fees are required to ensure the charity is able to cover rent costs at Technorth.
You can pay your subscriptions easily at reception on the first class of term. You can pay cash, card or bank transfer.
If you are interested in registering your child, please fill in this form or email email@example.com.
